Something To Write Home About
vivitur ingenio, caetera mortis erunt

First of all I want to talk about Bryan Cranston and his performance in Breaking Bad mini-series… acting at it’s very finest! World-class! I hope he wins that golden statue he so much deserves -everytime! It’s a great mini-series, I’m surprised and disappointed it’s not been nominated in more categories! It missed out on the Emmys too (I hope this is due to the time it was released and not the fact the series is about a crystal meth dealer -because it would blow everything else into the water!)
Hoping to watch The Artist this weekend but i’ve heard so many good reviews already and I hope it wins some golden globes too! Disappointed Drive is only up for one. It was my favourite film of the year.. I mean Ryan Gosling should have been nominated for his performance in that rather than Crazy Stupid Love (Which was surprisingly quite funny and enjoyable) I hope he picks up some Golden Statues he’s up for quite a few!
I’m hoping Joseph Gordon-Levitt wins best performance in 50/50. Very true and very moving, I even had the whole one tear rolling down my cheek thing!.. really hope he wins that!
I also notice Midnight In Paris is up for best screenplay.. I quite liked the whimsical idea of it all, -the story in general is original, clever but so simple at the same time.. I really want it to win in this category!
That’s enough nerding out for now i’ve got my own film to work on.
